Your Baruch issued ID Card is your first step toward a safe campus. Display it upon entering any Baruch College building. Showing the card is mandatory; not an inconvenience. Invalid ID cards will be confiscated by a Public Safety officer or the ID Center.
Baruch College welcomes anyone with official business during business hours. Visitors sign in, but they must have an appointment or be accompanied by a faculty member. If you would like to have a campus tour, you should contact Undergraduate Admissions to make appropriate arrangements.
All visitors entering a Baruch College campus building must sign in to the visitor’s log located in each building’s lobby. The Public Safety Officers will sign in visitors after the visitor displays a valid ID such as a driver’s license. If the visitor does not display a valid ID, they will not be admitted to the building. In this case, the visitor will be referred to the Public Safety Office.
All students who take classes at Baruch College must have a Baruch issued ID Card. New students must go to the ID Card center to have their ID Card photo taken. Continuing students who must obtain a replacement ID should go to the ID Card center. The first Baruch ID card you receive is complimentary. After that, there will be a charge of $10.00 (cash only) to replace your ID card.
All students must have registered and paid their tuition before they can get a baruch ID card.
If a student is not registered in classes for the current semester, his or her Baruch issued ID Card becomes invalid at the beginning of the semester. Your invalid ID card will be confiscated if seen on campus.
You are welcome, however, to visit any office during office business hours as a visitor.
